I'm a Professor in the Department of Economics at the
University of California, Irvine.
I received my 'Laurea' in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan in 2000 and my Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University in 2006.
My main areas of research are Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, International Macroeconomics, and Time Series Econometrics.
In my research, I try to understand the impact that deviations from rational expectations, learning behavior, and psychological factors, have on macroeconomic fluctuations.
