John Duffy is Professor of Economics at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and is also affiliated with the Institute of Social and Economic
Research (ISER) at Osaka University. From 1992-2014 John was Professor of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh. He earned an A.B. in Economics from the University of
California, Berkeley in 1986 and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1992. John's research interests lie in behavioral and
experimental economics, game theory, finance and macroeconomics. He is currently Co-Editor of the journal Experimental Economics and Co-Director of
UCI's Experimental Social Science Laboratory (ESSL).
