John Duffy

Bio

John Duffy is a Professor of Economics at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and is affiliated with the Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) at Osaka University. Previously, from 1992 to 2014, John was Professor of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh. He received an A.B. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1986 and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1992. John's research interests are in behavioral and experimental economics, game theory, finance, and macroeconomics. His work is published in leading academic journals, including the American Economic Review, the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Monetary Economics, the Journal of Economic Theory, and the Review of Economics and Statistics. He has received research funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation.
