Input & Syntactic Acquisition (ISA)

As part of the project, two workshops were held that focused on the relationship between the linguistic input available to children and children's syntactic acquisition. The idea was to bring together researchers with differing viewpoints so they could hash things out in one place and hopefully stimulate thoughtful research in this area.

  • ISA 2009: This was held at the University of California, Irvine.
  • ISA 2012: This was held as a satellite workshop of the 2012 annual meeting of the Linguistic Society of America and collocated with the 2012 workshop on Psychocomputational Models of Human Language Acquisition (PsychoCompLA).
